A look at the various people in neighborhoods around the world that help others dailyI was just going to flip through this and not read every page but then I saw that each page not only highlights a different occupation but also a different country and I had to read it Which didn't take long It's just a few words per page I have never seen a book that looks at people in the community that also provides a comparecontrast look at how postal workers police officers teachers etc can look similar with just slight differences in uniform or transportation throughout the world It's a book that shows the commonality of communities throughout the world and will hopefully help kids better appreciate the people who help them out in their community each day Could be used in occupation units community units and help littles get a peek at life in other countries
