    This wasa history of Dickens works and characters than a bio on the man himself I think only one page was devoted to writing about his children and not many about his family life which was fine with me So many other bios spend too much time on his relationship with his sister in law This was written one year after his death by someone who knew him too much time was spent telling about PICKWICK characters in my opinion Perhaps half the book I have read many bios on Dickens and most w This wasa history of Dickens works and characters than a bio on the man himself I think only one page was devoted to writing about his children and not many about his family life which was fine with me So many other bios spend too much time on his relationship with his sister in law This was written one year after his death by someone who knew him too much time was spent telling about PICKWICK characters in my opinion Perhaps half the book I have read many bios on Dickens and most were telling the same things This one told of many things about Dickens business activities which the others omitted If the reader is not very familiar with all of Dickens books and characters, this would not be of interest
