Almost almost unbearably Cute sort of book but then what did I expect with the title hey? Actually I expected to be rather appalled by the designs within and the attitude taken but this is really a gentle innofensive look at a sub strata of knitters and their pets Not at all my cuppa it's far too sweet for my own personal tastes but YMMV and there are some fun patterns here that also somehow manage to be interesting as well Wow Who'd a thunkit??There are scarfs with cat motifs beds for cats hats for kids hats for adults although some of these are a mite um uestionable There are slippers for people sweaters ditto a mat for the cat's dinner bowls socks pillows a bag a baby blanket and an afghan And there are toys for the cats presumably but these tend to be of the felted variety But all in all this is a fun book if you have oodles of time on your hands and an inclination towards this sort of thing Writing and production values are very good with decent basics information within the book as well as very good instructions and materials information Not at all a bad book it just isn't my sort of thing

I finally got around to buying this book If you are a knitter and havelove cats or knit for someone who does this is a definite must buy The projects are great with a good mix between knits for you and your cherished felines

Cute book and has a few cat themed projects that are amusing It has a wide variety of patterns from very simple to fairly demanding lace colorwork I particularly liked the pink sweater on the cover

  4. says:

The patterns in this book are not well written There were a couple projects in here I might have made but they weren't worth the trouble of slogging through the directions Also there was a strange focus on felting About 23 of all designs were felted Some were hand felted as well

  5. says:

Eh None of the patterns really struck me most were just typical things that were available elsewhere or just embellished with cat designs I don't need a book for that

Lots of really fun projects in this one
