    I wrote a review but Good Reads dubious format also killed this one fooled again, shame on me Alright, since I m the moron who continually lets this interface baffle me, I ll attempt to repeat my contribution Despite the fact that no one will actually read this review I m comforted by the fact that very few will actually read this book BecauseDespite the silvery cover and somewhat clever subtitle, this book proved a slow, agonizing read Primarily because of the first few essays where t I wrote a review but Good Reads dubious format also killed this one fooled again, shame on me Alright, since I m the moron who continually lets this interface baffle me, I ll attempt to repeat my contribution Despite the fact that no one will actually read this review I m comforted by the fact that very few will actually read this book BecauseDespite the silvery cover and somewhat clever subtitle, this book proved a slow, agonizing read Primarily because of the first few essays where the editors delve into all of the subtleties government red tape, patentsugh resulting in the formation of the Quonset hut as a temporary military dwelling What compounds this is the fact that much of the history presented here revolves around Alaska which, if you ve never visited nor intend to do so, you will find a bit lacking It picks up a bit when post war transformations are discussed especially the Tom Vanderbilt contribution , reading a bit like a John Margolis lecture though without the incessant flamboyancy Nonetheless, like another excruciating read Form Follows Financeon that one later , what appeared by title to be a promising read from the standpoint of actually wanting to read the damn thing turned out to beakin to fumbling through a 1040A with better images did anyone notice that the 2006 1040 had various missing persons inserts most of whom will be turning 18 next year The IRS wants their taxes safely returned
